So sometimes waking up early on a Saturday morning isn’t so bad…especially when you have a great couple like these two waiting to run around downtown and have fun! I always appreciate a couple open to anything and when we sent Erin in to ask the bellman if we could run around with their luggage cart and they agreed, we knew we were up for something different.

Okay, okay…I know I’m behind on my blogging so I’m trying to go back and post what hasn’t been posted and if I didn’t ever post this, I’m not sure if I would ever hear the end of it…
Why you ask? Because this beautiful bride is actually my cousin! Congrats to the both of them and their wedding (being posted soon)!!! We had a blast shooting this session up in Austin even though, ahem, Harold was a tad ill. Thanks for being a good sport Harold!!! BTW Harold, now you see how my family rolls on a golf course!

Okay, so here are a couple of updates on whats going on:
La Vie Studio (our sister studio) has been consolidated with MRP. We will now offer associate packages in our pricing menu and also start highlighting the associate’s work here on the blog. From here on out, current and former LV clients can contact the studio at 210.767.1900. Nothing has changed other then the name.
We understand that we aren’t always the quickest to respond to emails and phone calls and we’re working on it. Right now, its just myself and Jessica handling EVERYTHING so we definitely appreciate your patience. Our biggest task at hand is albums. Uggghhh…. It’s always a good thing when we have brides returning and ordering one meaning that they were very happy with their photos! Please understand that once the album heads off to the production company, its beyond our control and that timelines on the album agreements are estimates. We strive to make things work faster and during the break, will follow up and push those albums through…we can definitely see a light at the end of the tunnel.
I know that some of y’all were given my cell phone number either for meeting purposes or to find each other when meeting for a shoot. We ask that you please use the personal cell phone as a very last means of contact. We have received calls on Sundays and late at night and ask that you please go with studio or email first.
I guess thats it for now…everyone have a safe and wonderful summer and enjoy your kiddos before they head back to school!!!

Hey everyone!
The studio will be closed from August 3rd and reopening August 17th. If an order arrives, it will automatically be sent to the shipping address listed. I will still be checking emails and responding as well.

Hey guys!
I’ve been dying to post these images from this bridal session; problem was, the couple wasn’t married yet so we couldn’t allow certain curious eyes to catch a glimpse of the beautiful bride before the big day! Tara and I did some shooting around the studio with a little more of an urban look then the norm. She was a great sport despite the killer heat from the afternoon, but when you have a bride that is up for anything, you can ignore the heat and just shoot away! Congrats to Tara and Rufus who were married earlier this month (images coming soon)!!!
