Hey everyone,
I just want to thank everyone for their wishes and prayers for my mom. A week from today, my mom took a fall and ended up fracturing some ribs. We FINALLY moved her to a nursing home. She has had arthritis for quite some time and as a side effect from the numerous medications she has been taking, she was experiencing a lot of dizziness and disorientation. I’m hoping for the best during her stay and hope that her therapy works as best as it can.
I will keep everyone updated.
We had the opportunity to photography a very good friend of mine’s baby. Pretty much a newbie, Sam was all about the camera! We can’t wait to follow the growth of this young guy!

Hey guys!
Every now and then, we have a couple book over the phone or via email and never get to meet them till we have the chance to work together. At times, it can be a little weird at first or a little nervousness looms…not with this couple. We immediately hit it off with Laura and David. They came in from Houston to do some wedding errands and that gave us a great time to get together and knock out their engagements. We decided to shoot over at the Antique Rose Emporium and this place really leans itself to great shooting opportunities offering gorgeous backdrops and great textures.
Laura and David had awesome personalities and we definitely look forward to their April wedding!

This is my younger cousin, Jason. He’s currently up at A&M and is also doing some modeling. He’s been wanting some shots for awhile now so we got together one Sunday morning and just shot around. He was a blast to work with.
It’s great to do something different every now and then. It keeps the creative juices flowing.

Hey everyone!!!
We have been super busy here at the studio. Right now, it’s just Desiree and myself working on EVERYTHING, so we thank everyone for their continued patience.
As you can see, we have revamped our blog in an effort to keep everyone more informed on whats going on the MRP land! If you look on the left, you see some “tabs” that feature our Facebook page, along with recommended vendors and also a new section detailing any current studio specials. From time to time, we will have print specials, childrens and family portrait specials or maybe even some boudoir specials.
Also, we want you to check out the new image features here. We no longer have to rely on an external server for our slideshows…they’re all packed here in one place. In all fairness, we are going to try and pick up from where we left off last year while combining the current sessions and weddings we’re having. Whew! Thats going to be a lot of posting. In the meantime, PLEASE leave your comments and love. This is what keeps us going each and every day…
We are the luckiest studio in the world simply because we have the best brides!
